WHY WE STARTED THE PROGRAM
In 2016, La chioma Salon opened its doors for the first time, spending years creating a safe space and positive atmosphere for the public to come in and leave feeling their absolute best. Fast forward 7 years and the vision of creating beautiful inspiration and giving back confidence is still and always will be a main priority. During this time, we've encountered ups and downs, personally and publicly.
Covid-19 was probably the hardest time we had to go through as a business. Being shut down multiple times with no income, unable to provide a service that makes people look and feel their best was devastating. Fortunately, the support we had from our community made us stronger and we were able to overcome the hardships that Covid brought to so many of us. Seeing loved ones and hearing stories from our clients about people who weren't so lucky was absolutely devastating to us. Since getting back into normalcy, we wanted to give back to you in a different way. Something more personable than writing a cheque. Most people are silently fighting battles of their own and sometimes on their own. You never know what people are going through and the difference that feeling good about yourself can make.
